A couple days ago a snatch of music surfaced in my mind and I did the whole procedure of looking up the lyrics, then iterating on the search because the words are all so commonplace that I get 50 results for more popular bands.

I still love a lot of videogame music from back then, maybe because I find it hard to classify as for any other reason.

I find it hard to hate Hanson, though. They got such a hype backlash, even back then. They sucked, but I find it hard to say they're worse than, say, Len or most of the gorillion insipid, mass-produced acts that didn't reach their level of notability.
Maybe it's just the "Nickleback" effect where the hivemind gets a bug up its collective ass about a particular turd circling the cultural toilet, seemingly at random.
