it is still severely stained by the rust, but there is no fixing it without grinding the whole thing down which would make it thinner and possibly damage it
still, the metal feels smooth enough now, so i might just paint it over later
or just leave it as is and call it freckled
btw i found the perfect piece of wood for the handle, and already made the design
i only sawed the wood so far, im gonna finish it tomorrow ig
use an angle grinder to get it in the proper shape
idk where to buy pins and rivets, so ill just attach it with glue instead
just gotta figure out which glue to buy
i see lots of ppl using epoxy, so ill see what the hype is all about
and ig thats basically all thats left
gonna also use the angle grinder to sharpen it when its done
oh yea there is still the matter of the sheath
i still havent secured a leather source, but ill keep looking
